My real-life blog can be found at http://nargaque.com/.

In the gaming community I usually go by Nargaque. I have played Blizzard games since Starcraft 1, running the gamut through Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, and now Diablo 3.

In Warcraft 3 I created a lot of maps, and am responsible for SMotA, the revival of the Battleships Pro series, and many others. I learned a lot about gameplay design and balancing from maintaining these maps, as well as programming. I played ladder and DotA as well as custom games.

In WoW I played Tiers 11-13, the Cataclysm, and accumulated 8 level 85s before I quit, having cleared a few heroic mode raids of Tier 13 content with Edge of Insanity on US-Bloodhoof. In that raid tier I ranked on World of Logs on four fights, though since then I’ve been pushed down to ranking on only 2 of them. On the gunship fight I fell from 2nd to 12th due to inactivity. I also ran raids with Legion of Mystery, also on Bloodhoof.

In Diablo 2 I raised two characters to Hell but quit because neither of them was spec’d viably for Hell—I went Skeleton Necromancer and Double Attack Barb. After I realized my mistakes, I did not have the interest to re-level two characters into Hell. I also had an Amazon, Paladin, and Sorceress in Nightmare.

In Starcraft 2 I completed the campaign on Brutal and play ladder and co-op games on and off. My video card can’t truly handle the game so I don’t dare to go seriously into ladder, at least not yet.

As for Diablo 3, well, that’s the purpose of this blog. I have 5 level 60 characters, one of each class. I’ve beaten Inferno Diablo (with a 5-stack at that) and all of my characters are at least on Act 3 Inferno.
